He talks to us....

 Here are some of the bountiful words that He gives us in His precious word. Indeed, He talks to us...

Psalm 3:2-5

2 Many are they who say of me, "There is no help for him in God." Selah

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah

I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.

Psalm 34:4,8-9

 4      I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.

 8     Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

 9      Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him

Psalm 142:

1 With my voice I cry out to the Lord;
with my voice I plead for mercy to the Lord.

I pour out my complaint before him;

I tell my trouble before him.

When my spirit faints within me,

you know my way!

I cry to you, O Lord;
I say, “You are my refuge,

my portion in the land of the living.”

6 Attend to my cry,

for I am brought very low!

Deliver me from my persecutors,

for they are too strong for me!

7 Bring me out of prison,

that I may give thanks to your name!

The righteous will surround me,

for you will deal bountifully with me.

Psalm 145: 1 I will extol you, my God and King,

and bless your name forever and ever.

Every day I will bless you

and praise your name forever and ever.

3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,

and his greatness is unsearchable.

4 One generation shall commend your works to another,

and shall declare your mighty acts.

On the glorious splendor of your majesty,

and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds,

and I will declare your greatness.

They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness

and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.

The Lord is gracious and merciful,

slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

The Lord is good to all,

and his mercy is over all that he has made.

10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,

and all your saints shall bless you!

11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom

and tell of your power,

12 to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds,

and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

[The Lord is faithful in all his words

and kind in all his works.]

14 The Lord upholds all who are falling

and raises up all who are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all look to you,

and you give them their food in due season.

16 You open your hand;

you satisfy the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways

and kind in all his works.

18 The Lord is near to all who call on him,

to all who call on him in truth.

19 He fulfills the desire of those who fear him;

he also hears their cry and saves them.

20 The Lord preserves all who love him,

but all the wicked he will destroy.

21 My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord,

and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.
 Here is the new hut that the kids have made recently! Such fun!

 A second wash line was heaven sent, some dear, dear friends put it for us, so that we can hang all our washing out and not have to rely on the tumble dryer any more. It makes hanging out much more fun as I remember their kindness!  And thank God for their love! As you can see we have not yet managed to plant grass since the landscaping was done, but Jarryn is muttering like Pooh Bear in the background, "tut tut it looks like rain" so maybe we will get a chance yet, to plant soon.
A ready to warm up meal for a big family is no small feat...but they have been coming as such a blessing from our church family and with much gratitude from us.
